RUAIR members Kyle Bright, Max DuBoff, and Evan Gottesman bested the third best debate team in the country, the Rutgers University Debate Union (RUDU), in the Transatlantic Debates funded by the German Missions to the United States and facilitated by the Rutgers Center for European Studies. The topic of the debate was the refugee crisis in Europe. RUDU argued that Germany is the best European destination for Syrian refugees, while RUAIR argued in opposition that Germany is not. RUAIR won $500 for coming in first place. Congratulations to all of our debate participants!
